CHIROPRACTIC
PHYSIOTHERAPY

INITIAL CONSULTATION
For your first chiropractic visit, please expect 40 minutes for a thorough history, physical assessment, and treatment. If you have any relevant investigations (x-rays, bone scans, medical reports, etc) please bring them with you to your visit.

As part of your assessment, you will be asked to move into different positions to assess full ranges of motion, muscle length and muscle strength. Please wear/bring cloths that allows you to move freely. In some instances exposure of your back may be required. Gowns are available if needed.

If this is your first chiropractic visit and you are a bit anxious or nervous, please feel free to bring a friend or family to join you in the treatment room for support.
​
Please come 5 minutes prior to your treatment time to complete the required forms.

REGULAR EXAMINATION
Subsequent visits are 20 minutes long and are intended for treatment of a previously examined area.
These visits are not intended to examine new areas for treatment.

​A 40 minute follow up treatment of multiple regions or for when there is a new area of concern to be assessed.

CUSTOM ORTHOTICS
Orthotics consultation including assessment, 3D foot scan and orthotics.

​Your first session with the physiotherapist will include a thorough evaluation of your injury; assessing your movement, strength, range of motion and functional limitations. Working in collaboration, we create a personalized treatment plan to address your goals; whether working on an old, nagging injury or something new. You can expect a combination of manual therapy, movement rehabilitation, exercise prescription, and lifestyle guidance during your sessions.

Clinical Pilates

Clinical Pilates
(60 min)
Clinical Pilates, based on the principles of Joseph Pilates, helps patients to rehabilitate injuries or movement dysfunctions using personalized, physiotherapist-guided reformer or mat sessions. If this is your first visit, you can expect a movement assessment prior to assess range of motion, strength, and functional limitations. Each session will offer movement therapy and exploration integrated with manual therapy, precise cues, and breathwork to help address your goals.
Note: a physiotherapy receipt will be provided to you at the end of the session

1. Cancellation Period:

To cancel your appointment without incurring a fee, please provide at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled appointment time.
2. Cancellation Fee:

If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice or fail to attend your appointment without notice, a cancellation fee of up to the full value of your appointment will be applied.
